Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which people are brought into full Communion with the Catholic Church. Classes are held for all those from the age of seven and up who desire to learn more about the Catholic faith. Classes are structured, yet casual, so that those who are considering the Catholic faith are made to feel comfortable and welcome.

Deacon Bill Brunsmann leads the group of facilitators. Classes begin in September and continue beyond Easter. The catechumens and candidates are welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil, where they receive the sacraments of initiation - Baptism (catechumens), Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation.
