The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Men's organization started in the 1880's by Father Michael McGivney, to help widows and children survive after the death of husbands and fathers. At that time the state would remove the children from their homes in order to raise children properly, by state standards. As you can guess, many abuses were done to the families. By providing insurance and help, the harm that happened to families by the state, went away. The insurance that is offered today is top rated and the hallmark of our organization. We perform acts of payers, charity and works for church and community. The Knights of Columbus is 125 years old, a membership of millions, and has developed into a premier men's leadership group.
St. Aloysius Council 14094 meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM. The Knights are always looking for good Catholic men. For more information, contact Tom Riehle (513-498-1190).
