Lectors
Lectors assist the priest in proclaiming the Word of God at Mass. A lector will bring the message of Old and New Testament Scripture passages to life for God's people to hear. This very important liturgical ministry calls not only for the person to have a clear voice, but also be rooted in God's Word. Preparation books are provided to assist Lectors to proclaim the Word. All confirmed Catholics, 8th grade and older, are able to serve as lectors and proclaim the Word of God during the Mass. Training sessions are provided.
