The Worship Commission assists the pastor in his role as liturgical leader. The central goal of this commission is to develop liturgical and worship experiences that are rich with inspiration and meaning and promote the development of the community, especially at Sunday and Feast Day worship. We approach this by promotion the involvement of lay people in the liturgy, preparing special services for special occasions, and maintaining the traditions of our Faith and our community that are meaningful to our people. The Worship Commission evaluates the way we worship at St. Aloysius and makes recommendations for the common prayer of the assembly. Members observe what is happening at parish liturgies and then meet every other month to reflect on these liturgical practices, talk about ways to improve what needs attention and decide on specific steps to make improvements.
